Roxann has 7 years experience working at Paul Wizman MD practice. She maintains overall responsibility/accountability of all office employees. She coordinates all scheduling of surgeries, preceptorships, and proctorships. Roxann tracks and collects all pre-op clearances for patients scheduled for surgery as well as assists patients with financial needs.
Diane is the Program Coordinator for Bariatrix. She is a registered nurse, a certified diabetic educator and a certified bariatric nurse. Diane is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Society. She has been a lecture presenter at the annual ASMBS conference and is an exam item writer for the Bariatric nurse exam. Her nursing background is in surgery, community health education, senior outreach, stress management, diabetes education and bariatrics. She has served as the Bariatric Coordinator at West Boca Medical Center and Northwest Medical Center. Diane has been a part of the Bariatrix team for four years.
Candace Chemtob, MS, RD, LD, is a licensed, registered dietitian with a Masters degree in Human Nutrition from McGill University. Her extensive background includes more than 20 years of working in some of the nations' premier medical centers including University of Chicago, Harvard/Massachusetts General and Washington University/Barnes Hospitals. She is board certified in Weight Management and Sports Nutrition by the American Dietetic Association. Candace is a Board Member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a charter member of the Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida, and a member of the American Dietetic Association, American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and Sports Cardiovascular & Wellness Nutritionists.
Candace has been part of the Bariatrix team for seven years. This has given her the experience of counseling hundreds (actually thousands) of weight loss surgery patients.
Kim's responsibilities include insurance submissions, authorizations, and front office assistant. With five years of experience, Kim has an excellent approval rate and can assist you with all insurance needs.
